USA Cycling’s 2012 International Omnium Track National Championship is being held at the Giordana Velodrome at Riverwalk this Friday and Sat (Aug 17th and 18th). Don’t know what this is all about? That is OK. Come and find out. It is free and is really a big event in the cycling world.

An Omnium is a combination of 6 different style races all held on the velodrome track. The race formats vary which really adds to the interest of the event. Yes, it is very family-friendly. Parking is free, too.
