What do those tasty little Snack Well cookies and those curvy CFL light bulbs have in common? Apparently, both can lead to over indulgence.

Time Magazine reported that when we install energy efficient lighting, we lose 5% to 12% of the potential savings. Why? Because we leave the lights on longer because they cost less to operate. Kinda like the Snack Well cookies. We can eat more of them because each of them have less calories. Nevermind, we are negating some of the positive attributes of the cookie and the light bulbs.
