Ed Boyd Named Superintendent of the Year!
We’re beyond proud that our Project Manager, Ed Boyd, was named Superintendent of the Year at the MAME awards on April 28th held at the Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte, NC.
As the Project Manager at Riverwalk, Ed takes a home from the salesperson, and handles everything from the foundation to closing. He builds the home, and takes care of the client, acting as a liaison as the building process takes place. In a recent GuildQuality survey, one of the homeowners Ed worked with said “Great to work with. Ed even let me wear his boots during a meeting with the landscaper. It was extremely muddy and I hadn’t brought the proper shoes.” How thoughtful and considerate?
Tom Lancaster, a Riverwalk homeowner, said “Ed Boyd did an exceptional job keeping me posted on progress during the construction and walk through for closing.” A second Riverwalk homeowner, Larry Hood shared that “Ed Boyd did a very good job working with us, and responding to our needs.” Ed is always on top of things, especially when it comes to communication and responsiveness!
And Ed absolutely loves what he does, and is phenomenal at it as well. In his own words, “I love dealing with the homeowners. I feel so honored that they trust me to build their house for them. I always want it to be a fun experience for them, so I try to keep things light hearted. I love Move-In Day. The biggest compliment I get is when they move into their home and they’re happy.”
Is there any doubt as to why he was named Superintendent of the Year?
We believe in hiring the very best people to build the very best homes, and Ed is just one of our incredible team members. One of our Riverwalk homeowners, Diane Jordan, took note of Ed’s ability to work as a team, saying “Tara and especially Ed are a wonderful team. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with them. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful dream come true.”
You’ll meet Ed and the rest of our rock star team members when you come to see our Evans Coghill homes for yourself!
