We build new homes in some of the best communities in the area; truly wonderful places to call home. But it’s easy for the importance of that to get lost in the daily details of building and selling homes.  It’s nice to be reminded every now and again.

It’s a beautiful sunny December Sunday afternoon, and I am putting out the open house sign in the front yard of our New Home at 18520 Dembridge in River Run, Davidson, NC.  A neighbor is walking his dog down the sidewalk and waves.  That happens often.  But then he speaks up and says, “You can tell your prospective buyers that this is a wonderful community to live in.” That doesn’t happen every day, so I ask him how long he has lived here, and why he feels that way.  He’s been here for 18 years and loves the area.  “You can ride your bike to the end of the street here and then all the way into the town of Davidson” he says.  “The neighbors here are very friendly and help each other out, lend tools to each other and such.  And the countryside is right next door” he said, pointing  to the vast open space behind our open house . “It’s truly a magical place.”
