New York City is looking for someone to design really small places to live – apartments no larger than 300 square feet. That is about the size of a mid-size family room around here. We like their creative use of space and interior design in the pictures.

New York City will soon choose an architect to design micro-units of under 300 square feet. That may sound small, but many New Yorkers already live quite contentedly in cubbyholes.
