We are about 30 days away from the kayak/canoe launch at Riverwalk opening up. Just in time for summertime! If you haven’t tried it, you put in at just below the Lake Wylie dam on New Gray Rock Rd and paddle/float down to Riverwalk. It is about 3 miles and beautiful.

The launch is free of charge and open to anyone. You do have to bring your own kayak! Or, contact Catawba River Expeditions and they will rent you everything you need for a river trip.
